A clean, focused word game

Questions? Answers.
Do words have to use all the letters?
Yes. Every answer in Scrambly is a full anagram of the letters shown — meaning it uses every letter exactly once. No sub-words, no partial answers. If you see six tiles, every valid word uses all six letters.
Where do the words come from?
Scrambly uses a hand-curated list of real anagram groups built from common English words. Sourced from public educational materials and chosen so you'll recognize most of the answers when you see them.
Is it really free?
Yes. Free to download, free to play. The app is supported by occasional ads between rounds. No in-app purchases, no premium tier, no paywalls of any kind.
Does it work on iPad?
Scrambly is a universal app with layouts designed for both iPhone and iPad. On iPad, both portrait and landscape orientations are supported, and the game reflows to take advantage of the bigger screen.
Do I need an account?
No. Scrambly works without any account. Game Center is optional — sign in to use the leaderboard, or skip it and play offline.
